This photo truly captures the pure elation we felt as a business when Western Australia opened its borders on the 3rd of March 2022 and welcomed tourism back into our picture-perfect state.
It is no secret that the tourism and hospitality industry suffered greatly and is still recovering from Covid. Despite the adversity, we were determined to sip the wine and disregard the sour grapes and grow and thrive in 2022.
Unwind Tours was proud to partner with new venues in the Swan Valley, Bickley Valley and Margaret River region for our clients to experience the best of what Western Australia offers.
As people started to gain more confidence to go out, tour enquiries increased and new Tour Guides and Managers came on board to support our growth and showcase our rugged landscape.
We have hired people in their fifties, sixties and seventies who have wanted to have purpose and meaning to give back to our wonderful community. Our team is full of energy with young blood and the wisdom of our mature newbies! It reminds us that age really is a number and you can do anything your heart and mind desire.
